Preparation Procedure;

  1. Make sure your table is clean, with Sanitising Solution and set up right
  2. Wash hands of you and your client
  3. Disinfect the hands of you and your client with Sanitising Solution
  4. Remove Nail Polish, using remover with non acetone

5.   Gently push back the cuticle with the spoon end of the metal cuticle pusher. Remove                     the pertygum with the sharp end of the metal cuticle pusher

6.   Remove the shine of the natural nail using a 180 grit file

7.   Remove the filing dust from the nail plate using a sanitised implement

8.   Apply antiseptic to cleanse and dehydrate the natural nail

Applying tips;

9. Choose the right tip size and make sure that it fit’s from sidewall to sidewall

10. Blend the well of the tip

11. Apply glue to the well of the tip and roll the tip on the nail from free edge toward nail bed

12. Shorten the tip with a tip cutter to the desired length

13. Shape and gently blend the tip with a 100/180 grit file, start filing at the free edge and work toward the nail bed, once you have blended the tip finish by using your 180 grit file

14. Remove the filing dust from the nail plate using a sanitised implement

15. Cleanse and dehydrate the surface of the natural nail

16. Sparingly apply primer (which is in a Prep It bottle) to the natural nail, only allow this coat to dry and then repeat this again

17. Using clear powder and apply one ball in the middle of the nail plate, work the ball into the cuticle area using the tips of the brush and begin to pull forward toward the free edge using the barrel of the brush. Apply a second ball if necessary to build the arch location and reinforce the stress area

Shaping;

18. Using a 100 grit file to shape the free edge of the nail, and file the sidewalls straight out from the nail groove finish by angling the file 5 degrees to give the nail a slight taper, than file the lower arch

19. Using a 150 grit file start filing at the cuticle area and then file from both sidewalls in the direction of the apex with the same motions on both sides. Bevel the nail from apex to free edge

20. To remove file demarcations use a 180 grit file and make exactly the same filing motions to remove all the file demarcations

21. Continue removing file demarcations with a 220/180 grit buffer making exactly the same filing motions

22. Apply Cuticle oil to the cuticle area and massage it into the cuticle

23. Apply 2 coats of top coat with or without UV – blocker to seal the acrylic

24. Finish with washing hands of the client
